Shutters — Tier on Tier

Whilst the use of a midrail is the most popular way of visually splitting a full height shutter, some clients want to be able to fully fold the top section (for maximum light penetration whilst keeping the lower section closed for privacy control) – this is when the tier on tier option is useful. Ideally, the upper section will not be too small in proportion to the bottom section (or the appearance might not be as aesthetically pleasing) however, tier on tier can work very well on certain windows – please just ask us for our advice.
